Materials
The Nasty Shit series begins with exceptionally heavy buffalo hide, chosen for its density, durability, and distinctive impact characteristics.
Each fall measures approximately 1 inch wide, providing greater mass than the standard 7/8-inch falls found on most EF Leather floggers. Rather than using numerous narrow strands, the Nasty Shit design concentrates its weight into approximately 15–16 substantial buffalo leather falls.
This combination produces a dense, powerful thud with considerable physical presence.
The handle is individually hand-plaited from fine kangaroo leather in Black and Aqua, featuring EF Leather's traditional 12-plait construction.
The strength of kangaroo leather allows for tightly formed, precise plaiting, providing a secure grip and the durability expected from a handmade EF Leather impact tool.
Design
The 20" heavy buffalo falls are paired with a 9" kangaroo leather handle, creating a longer, weight-forward profile designed for controlled, deliberate movement.
The handle features EF Leather's Dashes pattern, with short sections of Aqua contrasting against the Black kangaroo leather. The repeating accents create a clean, rhythmic appearance that complements the substantial character of the buffalo falls.
Compared with the 18" Nasty Shit model, the additional two inches of fall length introduce greater reach and the potential for increased momentum during the swing.
The weight of the leather encourages a measured pace, allowing experienced players to work with the natural movement of the falls rather than relying on excessive acceleration.
