Overview
A celebration of individuality expressed through traditional whipmaking.
This 12-plait Rainbow Pride Moose Galley Whip brings vibrant color and purposeful design together in a distinctive leather impact tool. Its multicolored kangaroo leather body, finished with a royal blue butt knot, makes a bold visual statement while preserving the functional character expected from EF Leather.
The soft, substantial moose leather falls provide a fuller contact than lighter hides, offering the potential for a deep, satisfying thud with a subtle edge depending on technique.
Materials
The 18-inch body is individually hand-plaited from fine kangaroo leather in a traditional 12-plait construction. The multicolored strands form the Rainbow Pride design, bringing visual detail directly into the braided structure.
A royal blue butt knot completes the body, providing a distinctive finishing accent.
Twelve-inch moose leather falls give the whip its characteristic sensation. Naturally soft yet substantial, moose leather offers a fuller impact than lighter materials such as deer, with the potential for a pronounced thud and occasional bite depending on application.
Design
The Rainbow Pride color combination brings expressive character to the traditional 12-plait kangaroo leather body. A contrasting royal blue butt knot provides a deliberate visual finish.
With an 18-inch body and 12-inch moose falls, this galley whip combines practical proportions with the added substance of moose leather.
The supple falls allow for flowing movement, while their weight contributes to a more substantial contact than lighter leather alternatives. Controlled handling remains essential when varying tempo and intensity.
Scene Intent
For players who appreciate both individuality and performance, this Rainbow Pride galley whip offers an expressive addition to a collection of handmade leather impact tools.
Its moose leather falls are suited to rhythmic impact, progressive intensity, and scenes where a fuller, deeper thud is desired.
